Cooper Roberts occupies its first office space, located on King Street in San
Francisco’s SoMa district. Cooper Roberts employees witness the construction of SBC Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, and the high tech boom explodes around the adolescent company.
As a result of building owners’
decision to vacate and remodel the building as the future SF home of E*Trade, Cooper Roberts is forced to move from King Street to Market Street to occupy space in the building originally constructed for the San Francisco Chronicle in 1880. This building was the first high-rise in San Francisco.
Cooper Roberts is again forced to move after building management announces that the building would undergo significant renovations and be converted to a residential property. The company moves a block-and-a-half down Market Street to 575 Market (our current
headquarters) to take over a larger
space to accommodate growth of our business and staff.
